After the interviews are done and the movie posters are hung, the previews begin to play. People who get to the movies early do so to either get a good seat or see the previews (or sometimes both!). You will need to make a 2- 5 minute preview using Microsoft Movie Maker, and make sure that your preview relates back to the movie poster and the actor interviews.
By using Microsoft Movie Maker, you are able to use video clips, music, record your own voice, and pictures to create a 'film'. You can also use the Flip Camera to record the entire preview, or just parts, and edit it on Micrsoft Movie Maker. Again, you may access the green bin in the classroom for any prop that you may need and make sure you email me what you took so that we have a record ([email protected]). Remember, try not to keep the props for too long so that your classmates can access them. The videos below show you how to use the Flip Camera, Movie Maker, and some ideas of what a good movie prievew entails. Get creative!
You must include a rating, music, hints to the climax of the film, actors or characters in the movie, and make sure that you dont give too much away! If you need more information on what the essential parts of a movie trailor are, look here. Watch the video below for more information on how to use Microsoft Movie Maker to make your movie trailer!
